Netitude Has Cyber Essentials – Getting The Basics Right

Netitude is proud to announce it has achieved the government’s Cyber Essentials accreditation, meaning it has and utilises Internet Security to an industry standard. All of the requirements for this have been in place for a long time but a certification guarantees to current and future clients that we are operating to set guidelines and that our processes are competitive within the industry.

The Cyber Essentials scheme was developed in collaboration between the I.T. industry and the UK Government to cover two areas. Firstly it is a set of guidelines and controls that all organisations should have in place to prevent common internet threats and to mitigate the risk from these. It also acts as an ‘Assurance Framework’ to demonstrate to other interested parties that the organisation has taken these measures and that they are routinely implemented.

Netitude is constantly working on improving both its internal process and achieving external accreditation for the quality of the services it provides. We undergo constant scrutiny by both management and outside assessors to identify and improve the way we operate. Our management team have collected years of experience within the industry and we actively promote from within to make sure the best rise to the top.

It isn’t just management who are pushed to achieve. All staff are sent on training and sit exams for organisations such as Microsoft throughout the year and their work is subject to routine performance reviews. We also work closely with educational and employment organisations to offer apprenticeships and work experience placements giving young talent an opportunity to work alongside our veteran staff and a possible role within the company.

Netitude aren’t sitting on their laurels. There are still plenty of certifications to work towards and with the continued growth of electronics in every part of life new targets will be set regularly. We intend to always be ahead of the curve and ready to achieve every possible target as an assurance to our clients that we offer the best service you can get.
