Netitude: The MSP Built for Speed
From sponsoring Scott Lear's podium-finishing Radical SR3 at the iconic Silverstone Circuit, to flying round the hillclimb at Gurston Down in a Lotus Exige trying to shave another tenth off a personal best: motorsport and managed IT have more in common than you might think.
At Netitude, speed isn't a tagline. It's a philosophy. One that shapes how we build our teams, support our clients, and think about technology. Whether we're trackside in Wiltshire or keeping your business running without a hitch, the same principles apply: precision, reliability, and an absolute refusal to accept that good enough is ever good enough.
Here's why speed is at the heart of everything we do.
Seeing the Netitude logo zoom past a grandstand at well over 100mph at the iconic Silverstone Circuit was a sight to behold earlier this month.
As a fellow motorsport enthusiast, I could appreciate the shift Scott Lear — driving car #37 in the Radical Club Challenge (750 Motor Club) — put in, securing himself two class podium finishes at the Silverstone National circuit: P2 in Race 1 and P3 in Race 2.
It was a strong weekend at one of the most iconic venues in British motorsport — and Netitude was right there on the bodywork.
The Radical SR3 is a track-focused machine built for performance — lightweight, aerodynamically efficient, and designed to extract every last tenth of a second from driver and machinery. In other words, exactly the kind of environment where compromise isn't an option.
Why we got involved
When Scott approached us about a sponsorship partnership, the fit felt natural from the start. Not because we were looking for a reason to appear at a racetrack (though, honestly, it's a great place to have your logo), but because of what motorsport and managed IT have in common.
I've been a fan of race cars since a young age, and 25 years ago, I founded a managed IT services company — both passions have intertwined and intermingled over time.
Both are built on performance under pressure. In racing, downtime isn't a delay — it's a DNF. Systems have to work the first time, every time. Data has to be accurate, response times have to be fast, and when things go wrong, you need the right people on it immediately.
I'd say that's a pretty good description of what we do for our clients every day.

Closer to home: Gurston Down Hillclimb
Silverstone isn't the only place you'll find the Netitude name trackside. We're also proud sponsors of Gurston Down Hillclimb — one of the great grassroots motorsport venues in the south of England, tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside near Salisbury.
Gurston Down has been running competitive hill-climb events since the 1960s, attracting everything from historic single-seaters to purpose-built sprint specials. It's proper, unpretentious motorsport — the kind where you can stand three feet from the start line and feel the cars through the ground.

For me personally, it's my home venue. I compete there whenever life allows me the time to, working away at my own best time behind the wheel of my Lotus Exige. There's something uniquely motivating about trying to go faster at a venue you know well — every run is a data point, every tenth saved is a small victory.
It's the same mindset we bring to client work at Netitude: measure, optimise, improve, repeat. Whether it's a hillclimb PB or a reduction in ticket resolution times, the process is surprisingly similar.
Accelerate Your IT
As a fast-growing MSP bolstered by a continuous improvement mindset that's steeped in our business processes, our primary aim is to make your IT faster.
Downtime, disruption, and disconnection are all no-go's as far as our service goes. We believe that your IT shouldn't hold your business back. Instead, our mantra is that technology should be used as a competitive advantage, not a source of friction.
Whether you're shaving tenths off a lap time or shaving hours off a business process, the principle is the same: better infrastructure, better support, and the right technology in the right place, at the right time make everything faster and everyone happier.
What's next for the team
Scott isn't standing still. Amongst his plans for next season is an ambition to use the team setup as a hands-on training environment for motorsport students on the technical side - and as a lifelong student of motor racing myself, I know just how much of an impact initiatives like these can have in bringing real, positive change to the sport.
Bringing the next generation into the technical side of motorsport and giving them real-world experience in a competitive environment is exactly the kind of thing racing needs more of. It's not a million miles away from what we try to do at Netitude either: invest in people, build expertise, and develop long-term capability.
We're proud to be associated with a team that thinks that way, and we're excited to see where this partnership goes. Watch this space for more news as the season develops — and if you're interested in partnering with us, we'd love to hear from you.

Netitude's motorsport sponsorships — from Scott Lear's podium finishes at Silverstone to trackside branding at Gurston Down Hillclimb — aren't just good PR. They reflect a genuine, long-standing passion for performance that runs through the business from the top down.
The same principles that make a fast lap time: precision, reliability, continuous improvement, and no tolerance for downtime — are exactly what Netitude brings to managed IT. Speed isn't just a motorsport value. It's a business one.
